Primary bone cancer (cancer that begins in bone) is rare, but it is not unusual for cancers to metastasize (spread) to bone from other parts of the body, such as the breast, lung, and prostate. The most common type of primary bone cancer is osteosarcoma, which develops in new tissue in growing bones. A bone tumour, is a neoplastic growth of tissue in bone. Abnormal growths found in the bone can be either benign (noncancerous) or malignant (cancerous).
Journal of Bone Oncology and Bone Cancer Case Reports is an open access Journal, Peer-reviewed International journal aimed at presenting basic, translational and clinical high-quality research related to bone and cancer. The journal dedicated to cancer induced bone diseases.
