Journal of Bone and Mineral Metabolism Case Reports

Journal of Bone and Mineral Metabolism Case Reports publishes research articles related to bone ingredients, bone nutrition and bone metabolism in paediatrics. Bone and Mineral Metabolism Research group in the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, Metabolism, and Nutrition Research conducts basic and clinical research on a wide range of skeletal and soft tissue conditions. These conditions include osteoporosis, osteomalacia, hyperparathyroidism, Paget's disease of bone and developmental disorders of bone. Researchers in Bone and Mineral Metabolism sciences, biochemistry, molecular biology, orthopaedic surgery and nuclear medicine, basic mechanisms of normal skeletal development and age-related bone acquisition and loss. We also research bone loss related to secondary conditions, such as rheumatoid arthritis, organ transplantation and cancer, and bone loss related to medications, such as glucocorticoids and other immunosuppressive agents.

The journal is an international Open Access, Peer-Reviewed Journal and it publishes articles in the form of Research Articles, Review Articles, Short Communications, Case Reports, Clinical Images, Case Series, Original articles with the related topics of musculoskeletal system and Bone and Mineral Metabolism. The journal is interested in original research on the biology and physiology of skeletal tissues, interdisciplinary research spanning the musculoskeletal and other systems, including but not limited to immunology, haematology, energy metabolism, cancer biology, neurology, pathophysiology, treatment and prevention of osteoporosis and fractures, as well as sarcopenia, disorders of bone and mineral metabolism, and rare or genetically determined bone diseases.
