An Incidental Finding of Unilateral Congenital Radioulnar Synostosis in an Adult with Radioulnar Fracture
Abstract

A 21-year-old lethargic male patient with a history of a recent fall presented in the outpatient department with pain in his right arm. Upon examination and an X-ray, a Right Radioulnar Fracture was discovered with an incidental finding of a congenital right proximal radioulnar synostosis (grade 3). An Open Reduction and Internal Fixation (ORIF) was decided and performed. The patient was counseled about the abnormality and the treatment options and was discharged on the 3rd postoperative day.
