Cubital Nerve Compression by Synovial Cyst: Case Report
Abstract

Compression of the cubital nerve is the second most common compressive neuropathy, and it may occur at different levels in the upper limb, with the elbow being the most commonly affected anatomical site. The authors present a clinical case of a patient with cubital nerve compression at the elbow, due to a synovial cyst. The authors intend to alert to an uncommon etiology of cubital nerve compression, which should be considered, stressing the eventual need to complement the clinical history, physical examination and usual electromyogram with additional diagnostic tests.
