Case Reports in Hip Fracture Surgery Journal publishes articles in the form of hip surgical case reports, clinical images and videos of hip fracture surgery. Hip fracture are fractures of the proximal femur and are commonly seen in the elderly population following a fall. This type of injury has a high rate of morbidity and mortality. To reduce this, surgical intervention is often required. This activity reviews the assessment and management of hip fractures and highlights the importance of the interprofessional team.
